Day 1
Arrival & Welcome

Fly into Newport Beach and check in at the Renaissance Hotel. Settle in, explore, or connect informally before the group comes together for a hosted welcome dinner at Balboa Yacht Club. Intentional introductions, no small talk — by the end of the night, you’ll know who’s in the room and what they’re building.

Day 2
Experience Day

Board at Balboa Yacht Club at sunrise for a full-day private boat experience to Catalina Island. Curated conversations, strategic discussions, and downtime on the water. Food, beverages, and activities provided throughout the day. Return to dock by evening for a group dinner with reflections and high-level owner conversations.

The details
Our last retreat ran from August 28–30, 2026 in Newport Beach, California. Hosted at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel.
2027 is to be determined.
$1,500 for Agency Academy members. $3,000 for non-members. For last retreat this covered all meals, experiences, and the private boat day to Catalina Island.
Flights and local transportation are not included. Non-member tickets are limited and subject to availability.
No. Members get priority at $1,500. Non-members can attend for $3,000, subject to availability. Apply for membership to lock in the member rate, or request a non-member ticket.
Our last retreat included meals and experiences during the retreat, the private boat day to Catalina Island, and a curated, invite-only peer group of Agency Academy members.
We boarded at Balboa Yacht Club for a full-day private boat experience to Catalina Island. Fishing licenses and gear supplied. Food, beverages, and activities provided throughout the day.
For the boat: light jacket, polarized sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, chapstick, and boat-friendly shoes. General: phone charger, laptop, jeans, shorts, athletic clothing, t-shirts, long sleeves, jacket, socks, close-toed shoes, sandals, and a swimsuit.
