I'm still in the game, running a $29M agency.
I’m Garrett Mehrguth. I’ve bootstrapped Directive from zero to $29M in annual recurring revenue, built a fully remote team, and I still run it every day.
I’m not a retired coach teaching from memory. I’m in the same market you’re in, navigating the same shifts in AI, in client acquisition, in team structure, right now, this month, this quarter.
I’ve hired coaches myself twice in my career. Once when Directive was around $6M, and again when we hit $22M. Both times, the problems I was facing were completely different than the stage before.
What got me to $6M didn’t work at $22M. And what got me to $22M isn’t what’s getting me to $29M now.
I built Agency Academy because the gap between $1M and $10M is where agencies go to die, and almost nobody is teaching that journey from inside it. Most coaches exited at $2M-$3M. They never had to figure out what you’re trying to figure out.
